Sumhar was founded in 1990 as a General Trading Company. 

In 1996 the company specialized in supplying Scientific and Laboratory equipments and  materials .

 In 2002 the company started health care business line depending on its cumulative experience and on the specialized staff.

 Sumhar Trading Agencies ranks as one of the top leading Scientific and Laboratory equipment supplier in Iraq.

 Besides we have a qualified team that does installation, operation, training and after sales service.

 We have four local offices in Iraq.  Two main offices are located in the capital Baghdad, one in the north (Mosul) and the other in the south (Basrah).

 In order to extend our  business we formed a new company in Dubai- Jabal Ali Free Zone and another in Amman- Jordan.

 These two companies would assist us in many cases:

Its easier for foreign companies to visit both countries and to attend meetings and discuss other business affairs.

 Also for import and export facilities and for financial reasons (L/Cs and remittances)
